Substance over content.
I partner with organizations to architect brand stories, design scalable content ecosystems, and teach teams how to create with meaning and intention.
What I Do
-
Don’t know how to start or improve a content machine for your business? I build the entire engine that makes content generation turnkey; helping organizations stay competitive in the digital landscape and increasing cultural relevance. This includes building production studios, content strategy, talent development, and editorial playbooks designed to scale.
-
I oversee and execute creative from marketing campaign development, to platform-native content strategy to creating one-off stories like videos, podcasts and social content of all shapes and sizes.
-
I lead keynotes and run custom workshops that help leaders and teams unlock their storytelling fluency. I've taught 16,000+ students how to clarify their voice, connect with audiences, and lead with narrative — whether they're marketers, physicians, or startup founders.

“When I tell business leaders I’m a storyteller, they assume I mean around a campfire. But storytelling isn’t fluff. It’s a success tool. It’s how leaders inspire, how brands grow, and how people remember you. I’ve used it to drive results for Fortune 100 brands. And the good news is anyone can learn do it better.”
About Me
From feature films to 15-second reels, I’ve spent my career figuring out how to tell stories that land and last. My passion is helping individuals and brands tell more effective stories.
Twenty years ago, on the heels of graduating from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, I failed hard. I shot over 800 hours of footage for my debut documentary. I personally transcribed 150 interviews. And after years of filming, I still had no story. It was humbling. It was chaotic. It was the best crash course in narrative design I could’ve asked for.
That film eventually became Queens & Cowboys, an audience-award winner, Netflix-distributed feature. But more than that, it lit a fire: I became obsessed with what makes stories work, and how to help others avoid my pain by telling them better, faster, and with more soul.
That led me into the wild world of digital media. As a Creative Director at Uproxx, I helped scale a scrappy four-person content team into a 40+ person studio serving 30 million monthly visitors and telling hundreds of stories for world’s leading brands. I designed the creative systems for every digital platform. I trained the teams. I built the storytelling guidelines from scratch. (see the case study here).
From there, I took my playbook into enterprise. At Markforged, I helped a publicly traded tech company build a world-class content studio in-house; all while ditching external agencies, becoming a content machine that drove leads, and saving over $500K annually. We didn’t just make better videos. We built a system for storytelling; one that scaled across every channel and department. (see the case study here)
Today, I use those same tools to help organizations, from healthcare systems to Web3 startups, connect the dots between narrative and performance. I work at the intersection of strategy, story, and scalable execution. I’m the rare collaborator who can speak to brands and exec teams and also inspire creatives to make the best work of their lives. And I teach business students and seasoned marketers alike.
And regardless of your industry, I still believe this: the better you are at storytelling, the more success you’ll have in life.
